Orhan Pamuk's English translator

I have found recently an interesting article, The Writing Life: Maureen Freely, composed by Maureen Freely, Orhan Pamuk's English translator, and published more than month ago in The Washington Post, where she finds herself more than interpreting the language. Also you can find a podcast interview with her.

Maureen Freely has rendered into English such Orhan Pamuk's books as "Snow," "Istanbul," Other Colours," and "The Museum of Innocence." In addition, she's an author of several novels, occasionally contributes to The Guardian and The Independent and works as professor at the university.
